Arts and crafts take center stage in Downtown Bellevue July 24 through 26, as the the city welcomes artists from around the region and country to its annual premier arts events.

The largest and most distinguished arts event in the Northwest, the 2009 Bellevue Arts Museum ArtsFair will exhibit the outstanding art of over 300 juried artists from the Northwest and throughout the country. The extensive range of mediums include drawing/pastels, fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal work, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, wearables and wood.

Gallery by the Bay presents a new art show called "Art on the Town" that will benefit the Bellevue Botanical Garden Society. Featured in the show are 25 artists from the Puget Sound area, whose artworks range from paintings and glass to stone sculpture, photography and jewelry. A portion of the proceeds from the show to benefit the Bellevue Botanical Garden Society.
