Innovation, meet heritage. Recently Harley-Davidson revealed Project LiveWire – the first Harley-Davidson electric motorcycle.
In keeping with the company’s customer-led product development approach, the company is taking Project LiveWire to consumers across the country, including fans in Bellevue, who will be able to ride the bike at Eastside Harley-Davidson in Bellevue, August 7-9, and provide feedback to help shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. Even those who don’t yet ride will have the opportunity to feel the power of Project LiveWire through Jumpstart – a simulated riding experience.
While not immediately for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purposes of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Licensed motorcycle riders can now register online for their chance to demo Project LiveWire Experience at an upcoming tour stop. In 140 characters or less, riders must use originality and creativity to tell Harley-Davidson why they should be among the first to take this historic ride on Project LiveWire. Riders can visit ProjectLiveWire.com to view upcoming Project LiveWire Experience tour stops and dates, and can select a preferred time and date. Registration is required at least three (3) weeks in advance.
Harley-Davidson also invites anyone who is interested in the possibilities of the future to follow and engage with the company on its social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
