Watercolor can be painted realistically or loose; my approach to watercolor is loose with an emphasis on design and composition. From beginning to advanced students, this workshop will go step by step on how to compose a successful painting. Learn to use color and value to punch up your paintings. Right now in the art world there is an emphasis on painting realistically; to me, painting is more of a feeling than painting exactly what your see. From portraiture to landscapes, bold color and mastery of the brush stroke is the key.
