Event Description

This first Asia Business Forum of the new year will assess the business trends and economic prospects for Asia's 3 biggest economies in 2016. Attendees will learn about the current economic conditions of China, Japan and India and what to expect in this year in depth. ABF’s team of experts is engaged in Asia and tracks relevant policies and recent developments to deliver critical insights to its members and attendees, welcoming input and discussion.

Our presenters are:

China:

●David Reid, Professor of global business strategy at SU.

●Joe Borich, former president of Washington State China Relations Council and U.S. diplomat.

●Fraser Mendel, partner of Mendel Owens.

Japan:

●Tom Roehl, Professor of international business at Western Washington University.

●Kenji Ushimaru, Seattle representative of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).

India:

●Anand Yang, Professor of International Studies at UW.

●Sunila S. Kale, Chair and Director of UW’s South Asia Center and Program.

There will be a gift giveaway at the end of the Forum!

Time: Networking begins at 5:30 p.m. Forum at 6:30 p.m.

Cost: $15 (Early bird ticket. Regular ticket is $20) .
