Event Description

When children are so frustrated and angry that they become physically out of control, parents might be tempted to do all that they can to “make” the child get themselves under control. In this workshop, parents will be given the tools to preempt or minimize a temper tantrum. Also, parents will learn some ways to minimize power struggles during less emotional times. Parent workshop instructor Jennifer Watanabe has been teaching parenting classes at Bellevue College since 1997. She also teaches Positive Discipline classes and has a private parent coaching practice.
