Event Description

Taught by Seattle Tilth. Have you wanted to start composting your food or yard waste at home but didn’t know where to start? Then this is the class for you! You will learn the differences between food and yard waste composting and the do's and don'ts of each method. We will show you some of the many compost bins available locally and help you decide which is best for your family. Special attention will be paid to worm bins, food digesters, such as the Green Cone, compost tumblers, multiple-bin and single-bin compost systems.
