More schedule information: Candidates will have tables set up and will be around to answer questions from about 6:30pm Till 8:30pm, BBQ will be starting at 6:00pm for volunteers, and the Candidate speeches will begin at approximately 7:30pm.

Event Description

Come join us at the LD48Dems annual summer picnic. Everyone is welcome whether you are a member or not. We will have good food and fun for all. We will have a kids corner run by a former pre-school teacher with 9 years experience. There will be a Lego building corner courtesy of " Play-Well TEKnowlogies, and also coloring and reading activities. For the adults come meet and talk with your local politicians, such as State Senator Adam Smith and KIng County Executive Dow Constantine. State Representative Vandana Slatter, Senator Patti Kuderer and many others will also be there. This may be your best opportunity to meet the candidates and talk about the issues that matter to you, while having fun and eating great food. We have many diverse groups within our organization, including the "Young Dems " who will be there at the picnic to interact with. Crossroads park is a beautiful setting for this picnic and offers plenty of good parking options. This is a potluck, so please sign up to bring something at our website, or come just for the Candidates. If you are not a member please consider becoming one, but that is not required for the picnic.
