Event Description

The ROUTE 66 Big Band is a 17-piece band specializing in tunes from the Great American Songbook, classic and authentic songs from the swing era as well as pop standards of later decades. This great, swinging band's repertoire consists of hits by such greats as Glenn Miller, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Count Basie among others. Our very talented vocalist, Cindy Arasim, adds a special touch of glamour and excitement to the music.

'Route 66' has a very large and loyal following earned from more than 30 years of appearances at many corporate, civic and private functions all over the Seattle and Puget Sound area. The band members are pleased to provide this free public concert each year so people can enjoy the great music from the big band era.
