Event Description

Cascadia Groove, based out of the Skagit Valley, is a recent newcomer to the Seattle area Jazz community but is populated by jazz musicians with deep roots here. The group has been a Featured Artist at the Lake Chelan Wine and Jazz Festival and area Chelan wineries for the last 4+ years as well as many other area wineries and North Puget Sound venues, performing their unique original material that has a signature cross-over, contemporary sound.

The band is composed of musicians that have received education from some of the industry's leading Universities by nationally recognized Artists and top educators; Multiple band members have received multiple awards in Jazz; Performing at national, international, and local Jazz Festivals; 1,000’s of hours of recording sessions with top session players; Producing original compositions for major national and PacNW corporations, providing work in film, TV, live theater, and radio; All of this comes together in Cascadia Groove to provide a performance that is engaging, tight, upbeat, and diverse.
