Event Description

Mad Science camps spark curiosity and confidence by engaging kids in hands-on science and engineering experiences. Campers explore exciting experiments, creative problem-solving, and interactive demonstrations that build critical thinking and teamwork skills. Through age-appropriate STEM challenges, kids learn how science applies to the real world while having fun in an energetic, supportive environment. Each day encourages discovery, imagination, and a lasting enthusiasm for learning.

Creative Contraptions: July 20-24
Join us on a journey of discovery on a special desert island. Day campers are given fun challenges which they overcome using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors and most important of all…their mind! Follow in the footsteps of da Vinci, Edison and the Wright Bros. Construct shelters, bridges & forts, and fabricate innovative flying machines.

Spy Academy: July 27-31
Look out 007 – the Mad Science spy academy is in session! Sharpen your special operative skills as you uncover the secret world of espionage. Learn the art of listening and observation, sending secret messages and decoding clues, and check out security systems and super cool spy equipment. Discover what it takes to keep things safe and how technology works in the spy game.

Crazy Chemworks: Aug 17-21
Your junior chemist will create surprising concoctions, break molecules with ease, and shake up a flask full of fun. They’ll use the tools, safety procedures, and laboratory techniques of real chemists as they investigate solids, liquids, and gases at the atomic level. Craft chemical combinations to create super-sticky-stuff and discover properties of light. Exploring the elements has never been so much fun!

Super Science Sampler: Aug 24-28
Mad Science comes in all shapes and sizes as our campers will discover in this exciting week of science activities. Become an engineer and build bridges, assemble and control pulleys, levers, catapults, and simple machines. Explore physical and chemical reactions through chemistry. Behold birds and beasts as we discover the animal kingdom!
