Tateuchi Center has opened a preview facility in downtown Bellevue to share the architecture, programming, and progress of the Tateuchi Center project. Located inside the "Wintergarden" atrium at Bellevue Place and adjacent to the Hyatt Regency Bellevue hotel, the preview center features full-wall artist renderings of the Center's 2,000-seat concert hall and 250-seat cabaret.

Tateuchi Center - Preview Facility

The preview facility is located inside the Wintergarden atrium at Bellevue Place and adjacent to the Hyatt Regency Bellevue hotel.

Hours: Wed-Fri 11:30am-1:30pm, Wed 4-7pm

Samples of interior finishes--such as the concert hall's grand drape, custom carpeting, and theatre chairs--are also on display, and lighted architectural models are showcased inside and outside the space. Interactive touch-screen displays on the exterior of the center allow visitors to view floor plans, videos, and information about the project at any time of day.

The Tateuchi Center preview facility was made possible by generous gifts from Betty and Kemper Freeman, Jr., and Patty Edwards. Both the Freemans and Ms. Edwards serve on the Tateuchi Center Board of Directors and are long-time supporters of the campaign to build a performing arts center in downtown Bellevue. In-kind contributions of technology and furnishings for the preview center were made by Avidex and BoConcept.

Beginning April 27, 2011, the preview center will be open from 11:30am to 1:30pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, as well as Wednesday evenings from 4pm to 7pm. The facility will also be open in conjunction with special events at neighboring hotels and restaurants in The Bellevue Collection.
