Bellevue Farmers Market opened its 8th season on May 12, 2011 to beautiful, sunny sky. Opening festivities included foot-stompin' live music by the Haggis Brothers, hourly drawings for farm products, face painting and craft activities for the kids.

New farmers and vendors at this year's farmers market include:
- Daniel's Honey (Kent)
- Silver Springs Creamery (Lynden) - goat & cow cheese, milk, yogurt
- Sea Breeze Farm (Vashon Island) - charcuterie, raw milk, pate, wine
- Jones Creek Farm (Sedro Wooley)
- Los Agaves - Mexican cuisine
- Tandoozy - Indian fare
- and more
In all, you can find the finest in local farm products including organic grass fed beef, rhubarb, fresh local asparagus, spring greens, organic pork and chicken, farmstead cheese, milk, flower bouquets, artisan breads, freshly foraged fiddlehead ferns and spring nettles, spring carrots and radishes, greenhouse heirloom tomatoes, fruit, organic produce, tuna, honey, vegetable and herb starts and more.
