WSDOT will close both directions of SR 520 floating bridge and highway this weekend November 5-7. The weekend closure is needed to install girders and complete other construction work.
Here are the details of the SR 520 closure this weekend.
Where is the closure?
Both directions of the SR 520 floating bridge and highway and all ramps between Montlake Boulevard and I-405 will be closed November 5-7.

When is the closure?
- Westbound SR 520 ramps and lanes will close at 10pm Saturday
- Eastbound SR 520 ramps and lanes will close at 1am Sunday, November 6
What will remain open?
SR 520 will remain open between Montlake Boulevard and I-5. In Bellevue, the 108th Avenue Northeast on-ramp to eastbound SR 520 will remain open and in Seattle, the Montlake Boulevard ramps to and from SR 520 will remain open.
When will crews reopen the highway?
All ramps and the mainline will reopen by 5am, Monday November 7.
