Bellevue Beat | Downtown Bellevue hosts 19th Annual Tugboat Regatta

The Pacific NW R/C Tug Regatta in conjunction with the Northwest R/C Ship Modelers hosted the 19th Annual Tugboat Regatta at the Bellevue Downtown Park on Saturday, August 16, 2014. The regatta has made this one of the premiere events in North America.
Contestants come from Washington, Oregon, California, Canada and even as far as England to run and show their models in this tugboat regatta. Events during the day include barge handling, salvage, and tam towing as well as free running area for tugs to have some extra fun. Vessels compete in select categories based on weighted size or style.
