Our recent trip to Palm Springs for a music festival included a delightful stay at a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom luxury bungalow that left us thoroughly charmed inside and out. Located in the sought-after Warm Sands neighborhood on Vista Oro, this charming property offers quick access to downtown Palm Springs and Indian Canyon Drive.

Before our trip, we had already perused photos of the property during our search for short-term rentals. The online photos did an excellent job of showcasing the property's appeal.

However, as avid fans of 3D walkthroughs and virtual tours, we decided to take it a step further by bringing along our Matterport 3D Lidar camera. Our mission was simple: capture a 3D model (also known as a digital twin) of this fabulous bungalow paradise.

One of the fantastic features of a digital twin is the flexibility it offers. You can choose your own adventure. Start with the guided walkthrough or take a self-guided tour, exploring each room or area at your leisure and choosing.

Begin with a "dollhouse" view, then simply jump into specific rooms or areas that pique your interest. You can seamlessly shift from the exterior to the interior, from the front gate to the lanai and courtyard. Zoom in for a closer look at the meticulously curated finishes and artwork, to count the number of lemons on the lemon trees, or zoom out for a broader perspective.
