Downtown Bellevue 4th of July Fireworks


Celebrate America's Independence Day this July 4th at the Eastside's Premier 4th of July Fireworks Event!

Now in its 22nd year, the annual Bellevue fireworks event attracts some 60,000 people, features live performances including the Bellevue Philharmonic Orchestra, and ranks among the most spectacular fireworks shows in the Pacific Northwest. The annual Bellevue fireworks celebration is produced by City of Bellevue and Bellevue Downtown Association.

Remember to bring a flashlight for safety. For games and activities, arrive early to avoid the crowds.

Parking & Street Closures
FREE parking is available at Bellevue Square after 6pm. At 9:30pm, all cars will be barred from NE 4th b/t 100th Ave and Bellevue Way, and from 100th Ave b/t NE 1st and 5th streets.

7:30pm Idol Eyez (Top 40 Dance Band)
8:40pm Bellevue Honor Guard presentation and placement of the colors
8:45pm "The Star-Spangled Banner" National Anthem
9:30pm Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra takes center stage to present a special Independence Day performance
10:05pm The Eastside's largest and most spectacular fireworks show set to live performance by the Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra


10:30pm Post Fireworks Performance by Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra


Bellevue Parks Family Fun Zone

2 - 8:30pm
The Bellevue Parks Family Fun Zone will entertain kids and adults throughout the day with activities ranging from free entertainment, jugglers, stilt walkers, mascot characters, balloon artists, face painting, free interactive games and more.

There will also be a variety of inflatable rides and a Mini Mountain climbing wall. (Rides and climbing wall range from $1 to $5).

 
     
 

Picnic Games

3 - 4:30pm
Free summer picnic games in the park! Compete in sack races, 3 legged races, bean bag toss, tick tack toe, hula-hoop and more! Everyone's a winner!

Newport Hills 4th of July Celebration


The Newport Hills Community Club, the Newport Hills Community Church, the City of Bellevue and local merchants will host an annual 4th of July Celebration in Newport Hills on Thursday, July 4 at Newport Hills Park. Festivities include:

  • A children's parade at 11:30am. Ed Raftery in his 1928 all original Model A Ford Roadster Pick-up will lead the children's parade with decorated bikes, trikes, wagons and strollers around the track at the former Eastside Catholic High School.
  • An old fashioned picnic. Hamburgers, hot dogs, cheese quesadillas and other delicious picnic dishes will be prepared and served by Newport Hills volunteers.
  • Live performances. As part of the celebration, the Newport Hills Community Church choir members will perform a selection of old time favorites and patriotic songs followed by local performing artists.
  • Other family-fun activities including bouncy house(s), water balloons, face painting, kid's games, sports, Dizzy's Tumble Bus, and various display booths. PLUS a potential visit from the Fire Department with a real fire engine. Frisbees, tug-of-war and other fun games are also popular with the kids.

Newcastle 4th of July Celebration


Schedule of activities:

  • 6pm - Picnicking at Lake Boren Park. Bring your own picnics. Summertime snack foods will be available for sale on site, including snow cones, kettle corn, chips, soda and bottled water.
  • 8pm - Rock concert featuring Shelley & the Curves.
  • 10pm - Fireworks show. Newcastle's musical prodigy Brandon Willis will lead into the fireworks with his saxophone rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner.

Date: Thursday, July 4
Location: Lake Boren Park. Limited parking is available on site, as well as nearby off Coal Creek Parkway. City walking trails also lead to the site. A free shuttle will be available for rides to and from Newcastle Elementary School at 8400 136th Ave. SE, Newcastle.


4th of July Celebrate Kirkland


Schedule of activities:

  • 1 - 10:30pm - Join all your friends and neighbors at Marina Park! Food and sponsor vendors in the park or bring your own picnic basket.
  • 3pm - Watch the annual Rotary Duck Dash.
  • 10:15pm - Fantastic Fireworks Display off of Marina Park with viewing from most downtown waterfront parks in Kirkland.

Date: Thursday, July 4
Location: Marina Park. Traffic will be heavy and parking is going to be tight in the downtown area all day so be sure to share a ride, take a bus, ride a bike or walk if possible.
