Downtown Bellevue 4th of July Fireworks
Celebrate America's Independence Day this July 4th at the Eastside's Premier 4th of July Fireworks Event!
Now in its 19th year, the annual Bellevue fireworks event attracts some 60,000 people, features live performances including the Bellevue Philharmonic Orchestra, and ranks among the most spectacular fireworks shows in the Pacific Northwest. The Symetra Bellevue Family 4th fireworks celebration is produced by City of Bellevue and Bellevue Downtown Association.
This year's fireworks celebration include:
Main Stage Live Performances(tentative schedule) 2:00pm Bellevue Parks Family Fun Zone opens Bellevue Parks Family Fun Zone2 - 8:30pm There will also be a variety of inflatable rides and a mini mountain climbing wall. (Rides and climbing wall range from $1 to $5). |

Newport Hills 4th of July Celebration
The Newport Hills Community Club, the Newport Hills Community Church, the City of Bellevue and local merchants will host an annual 4th of July Celebration in Newport Hills on Saturday, July 3 at Newport Hills Park. Festivities include:
- A children's parade at 11:30am. Ed Raftery in his 1928 all original Model A Ford Roadster Pick-up will lead the children's parade with decorated bikes, trikes, wagons and strollers around the track at the former Eastside Catholic High School.
- An old fashioned picnic. Hamburgers, hot dogs, cheese quesadillas will be prepared and served by Newport Hills volunteers.
- Live performances. As part of the celebration, the Newport Hills Community Church choir members will perform a selection of old time favorites and patriotic songs followed by local performing artists.
- Other family-fun activities including field games, arts, Dizzy's Tumble Bus and more.

Newcastle 4th of July Celebration
Schedule of activities:
- 6pm - Picnicking at Lake Boren Park. Bring your own picnics. Summertime snack foods will be available for sale on site, including snow cones, kettle corn, chips, soda and bottled water.
- 8pm - Rock concert featuring Shelley & the Curves.
- 10pm - Fireworks show. Newcastle's musical prodigy Brandon Willis will lead into the fireworks with his saxophone rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner.
Date: Sunday, July 4
Location: Lake Boren Park. Limited parking is available on site, as well as nearby off Coal Creek Parkway. City walking trails also lead to the site. A free shuttle will be available for rides to and from Newcastle Elementary School at 8400 136th Ave. SE, Newcastle.
