Event Description

 

Hey Bellevue, the new State Route 520 floating bridge on Lake Washington, the world's longest floating bridge connecting Bellevue to the westside, opens to traffic in just a few months, and we're holding a big public celebration to mark the occasion. So save the date: April 2 and 3.

 

The festivities on the new bridge include a fun run and walk, an Emerald City Bike ride, and other family-fun activities that we'll be announcing in coming weeks.

Run the bridge before you drive it!
Saturday, April 2
Register for the 5K or 10K run/walk on the new floating bridge presented by the Virginia Mason Heart Institute.

 

Ride the Emerald City Bike Ride!
Sunday, April 3
Join a unique 20-mile bike ride through Seattle, with route options for all ages produced by Cascade Bicycle Club.
