91.3 KBCS is hosting a fun-filled celebration of public transit on Tuesday, June 28
from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Party on Wheels is the cherry on top of the station’s What’s the Flux?:
Commuter Dispatches project, which shines a spotlight on the provocative, and often moving
experiences of local commuters. Attendees will be invited to board a 35-foot Metro Bus, donated
by KBCS partner Metro King County, and contribute their own stories to the #WTFlux project via
listening and recording stations set up inside. The bus will be parked on-site, adjacent to the
Farmers Market.
Party on Wheels will also feature a musical performance from the Seattle Women’s Steel Pan
Project, as well as coordinated announcements and call-ins on air during the event from the
KBCS team. Attendees can browse KBCS Day at the Farmers Market and enter to win a variety
of prizes at the KBCS booth, including swag, tote bags, and ORCA cards. Come join the Party
on Wheels for an afternoon of transit tales, music and fun!
