You'll go batty for this fun and exciting No-Refined-Sugar-Added Halloween Cooking Class!
Sugar on food labels is often disguised under different names. We'll unmask these spooky culprits and learn how to recognize added sugars. Come fly with us as we make super fun recipes like "Jack-O-Lantern Eyeballs", "Island and Nutty Ghosts", "Black Bean Brownies - Bats and Cats", "Cheese Ball Zombie Brain" and "Monster Punch". Register for free below to hold your spot. Payment is not required until the class is confirmed to be held. Class size is limited to 10 students. This class is for ages 5-10. (Please email me if your child is outside of this age range and would like to attend this class). I'll accept credit card, debit card, cash, or check once the class has a minimum of 5 students.

Nutrition Activity: At the start of class, we'll uncover the "creepy" way sugar is snuck into many of our common foods by playing the "The Sugar Disguise/Mask Game"

Class Recipes:
1. Jack-O-Lantern Eyeballs
2. Island Ghosts and Nutty Ghosts
3. Black Bean Brownies - Bats and Cats!
4. Cheese Ball Zombie Brain
5. Monster Punch

To add to the festive feel, please feel free to allow your child to wear a kitchen-safe Halloween costume!

As a Legacy Chef class, this class invites the Senior residents of Aegis to come be an active part of this cooking experience. Senior adults are invited to watch, participate, or help mentor a child in the class, bringing the intergenerational community together for precious learning time around the table. Parents are not required to stay, feel free to enjoy your this time for yourselves!

Looking forward to getting messy in the kitchen with your little goblin!
