Event Description

Be prepared for 3 days of sun, more than a dozen killer local bands, art from all over the North-west that you can appreciate, buy or participate in, KidZone with lots of entertainment for the kids, food vendors to sustain your energy levels and lots of ways to support local non-profits.

Friday night starts with Kirkland native bands, closing out with local favorite Creme Tangerine.

Begin your Saturday with an energetic Zumba class, grab a mimosa and cheer for your favorite duck while supporting the Kirkland Rotary on Lake Washington. KEXP sweethearts will grace the stage throughout Saturday and Sunday, ranging from the pop/new wave stylings of Radio Ra-heem, to the blues-punk of the Black Tones, the fiery honky tonk of Dusty 45’s and the raucous closing of Nite Wave.

Start Sunday morning with a locally crafted libation in hand while getting your stretch on with Co-lumbia Athletic Club Yoga on the waterfront. Enjoy the Sacramento sounds of Soft Science, ex-perimental riffs of Tres Leches and capping the festival with two bands with deep roots in the Se-attle music scene: Danny Newcomb & the Sugarmakers and Strong Suit.

If you have the kids with you, you’ll want to head to KidZone at Heritage Park; 11 acres of open grass overlooking Lake Washington transformed into a romping good time for families on Satur-day and Sunday. More than a 100 different family oriented vendors, food trucks, interactive learning activities, community art projects and presentations. Let the kids trek through obstacle courses, bouncy toys, and all aboard the train, our most popular ride.

What would a music + ARTS festival be without artists???? Well they will be there too. Stroll through the Arts Fair presented by ryan james fine arts, with over 100 artists sharing their talent for all three days. On Saturday and Sunday, Heritage Hall will host the Young Artists Exhibition. We encourage young artists from all over the Eastside to submit their “Robot-themed” pieces to be featured.
