Beginning this summer, June 21 is the first day of summer, you can now rent stand up paddleboards at Bellevue's Enatai Beach Park. Located on the eastern shore of Lake Washington, Enatai Beach Park is a great place to get out on the water with your SUP.

Paddle your SUP out on beautiful Lake Washington to see waterfront parks and homes, with views of Mount Rainier and the regional hills. The Mercer Slough Nature Park canal is the most popular destination from Enatai. The canal is limited to human-powered watercraft, making for a very peaceful experience. The area also offers views of great blue herons, green herons, bald eagles, jays, beavers, muskrats, wild iris, water lilies, and (if you time your visit right) tasty blackberries.

Have you tried SUP before? If not, will you try it now that it's available in Bellevue? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below or on our Facebook page.
