Bellevue Beat | 2014 Independent Designer Runway Show Winner

The 3rd annual Independent Designer Runway Show (IDRS) kicked off the annual weeklong Bellevue Fashion Week (September 24 - 28) on September 24, 2014.

IDRS featured 10 Northwest fashion designers from dozens of quality applications. Through the many months leading up to the fashion week event, the Bellevue Collection supported the ten local, independent fashion designers' careers by providing production team and mentorship resources at no cost to the designers and of course the fashion week venue to showcase their work.

Local designer, Deborah Roberts was chosen as the winner for her collection Silvae. In addition to the title of winner of this 3rd annual event, Roberts received a prize package including $5000 furnished by The Bellevue Collection and the Kemper Freeman family and will be featured in seven free-standing Fashion Frames located throughout Bellevue Square through the end of October.
