The Spring District, a 36 acre environmentally sustainable, transit-oriented, mixed-use urban neighborhood has started Phase 1 on the old Safeway Distribution Center site in the Bel-Red Corridor between 120th Ave NE and 124 Ave NE. Specifically designed to help tech companies attract and retain the world's best talent, Spring District is centered on a future light rail station which will connect Microsoft, to the east, and downtown Seattle, to the west. The 16 city blocks will feature commercial, educational and residential projects, including hotels, restaurants and diverse local shops.

Already in for permitting with the City of Bellevue, the Spring District Brewpub will be home to approximately 9,000 square feet of brewery and restaurant space on the ground floor with an expansive outdoor beer garden with views overlooking the adjacent neighborhood park, and 14,000 square feet of creative office space. The Brewpub will be a hub of activity, serving as a community center, a place that welcomes guests, and a central location that encourages interaction and idea generation. Selection of a brewery and restaurant partners for the retail spaces are currently underway.
