REI announces new partnership with City of Bellevue to operate boathouses at Enatai Beach Park and the new Meydenbauer Bay Park with classes, outings and rentals for exploring Lake Washington by stand-up paddle board, canoe, kayak or pedal boat.

Grand opening celebrations are scheduled at each location for Saturday and Sunday, May 25-26, 2019, featuring food, music and family-friendly activities.

The boathouse at Enatai Beach Park will host food, live music, outdoor partners and product demonstrations 1-4pm. At the same time, the Meydenbauer boathouse will have snacks and swag. In the early evening, 5-8pm, the festivities continue at Enatai boathouse with outdoor games, a gourmet s'mores bar, gas fire pits and lounge area.

REI will offer a range of organized outings, including a "Sunrise over the Cascades" Tour, Sunset SUP Yoga and a Mercer Slough kayak tour. For those wishing to explore the lake and slough on their own, rentals are available by the hour, half and full day or for the entire weekend. REI members receive discounts on all experiences and rentals.
