After several months of being closed, Bake's Place GM/Partner Chris Peterson knew that he and his team would have to adapt to a new normal. A place well-known for live music would no longer have it and there was no way to know when it could return. Under these circumstances, Chris and Bake's Bar Manager Sabrina Gertz began brainstorming ways to entice people to come back while ensuring that they'd feel as safe as possible.

What came together was an expansion of their fanatic days that they started a few years ago with Whiskey Wednesday. Working closely with their vendors, they kicked off the summer with six theme days showcasing specialty cocktails, flights and bites. Depending on the day of the week, you could enjoy a variety of drinks from a great flight of whiskey to a fun tropical themed cocktail, all while basking in the sun on their comfortable patio. With consistent and creative marketing to get the word out, these themed days became a big hit for the restaurant and attracted new customers. Now, with that momentum, Chris and Sabrina are ready to start their next program of delights.

Bake's Place will be having four different theme weeks starting October 5th through the end of the month. Each week will have a featured themed drink and food item that will be available all week long. Featured will also be six different specialty cocktails, one for each of the six days they're open each week. First up will be wine from Delille Cellars, second week is Negroni Week, third is Save The Whales Week, and the fourth will be Bourbon Week.

So if you're in the mood for some wine, gin, rum or bourbon, Bake's Place has you covered. Insider Tip: If you get cold while sitting out on the patio this fall, you can request a blanket.
