Help Lois Beat Cancer! A fund-raiser benefit is taking place in Bellevue at Bake’s Place Bar & Bistro on Saturday, June 29, 2019, sponsored by fabulous Lee Oskar!
An internationally acclaimed harmonica virtuoso, composer, producer, manufacture and visual artist. He is renowned for his iconic role as a founding member and lead harmonica player of the pioneering funk/jazz band that composed and recorded such hits as “Low Rider,” “Spill the Wine,” “Cisco Kid,” “The World is a Ghetto,” “Slippin’ into Darkness,” “Why Can’t Be Friends,” and many more gold & platinum chart-topping songs from 1969-1993.
The evening will be hosted by Jeff Renner, former KING5 TV Chief Meteorologist, and a much-loved member of our Angel Family.
Fighting Stage IV Colon Cancer
This musical evening spent with Lee Oskar & Friends will help raise funds for dear friends, Lois Hayashikawa-Levin and her husband, Jerry, as they continue their battle with Cancer. Lois was diagnosed in February 2017 and has undergone critical life-saving surgery as well as ongoing chemo ever since. New tumors discovered in her liver last fall have necessitated radiation treatments to try and get these under control.
Lee Oskar & Friends features Darrian Asplund, Brian Monroney, Dean Schmidt, Ed Weber, Andrew Cloutier, Denali Williams and Lee Oskar!
If you can’t attend but are interested in supporting Lois, please consider a contribution to her GoFundMe: www.HelpLoisBeatCancer.org
