520 Bridge Grand Opening
|
On April 2-3, the public is invited to come out to a weekend of grand opening celebrations to check out the bridge before you drive it. This is once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be among the first to walk on the world's longest floating bridge connecting Bellevue and Seattle. So mark your calendars!
Weekend festivities on the new bridge include a fun run and walk, an Emerald City Bike ride, and a variety of interactive, informative, and fun activities for people of all ages. On the bridge you will find exhibits from the Pacific Science Center, expert LEGO builders and an assortment of activities highlighting the science, technology, engineering, and math that went into building the world's longest floating bridge.
