Bellevue Beat | Amazon Fresh supermarket coming to Bellevue
Already the unofficial HQ2, Bellevue will soon be among the first US cities to get an Amazon Fresh supermarket. The Bellevue Amazon Fresh grocery store will be located at the Marketplace shopping center in Factoria, taking over the space previously occupied by Safeway at the north end of the shopping center.
No word yet on when the Bellevue Amazon Fresh store will open but construction is well underway. We dropped by recently to grab photos of the store location in Factoria. Look at all that free parking!

Amazon Dash Carts are equipped with digital panels that allow shoppers to sign in using a QR code from their Amazon app. Shoppers using the Dash Carts may simply bag as they go; items are automatically tallied when shoppers place them inside the carts. When shoppers leave the store, purchases are charged to whichever debit or credit card is linked to their Amazon app. For shoppers who do not wish to use the Dash Cart or who have larger grocery trips, there are always the good old checkstands and cashiers.
In addition, shoppers can use new Alex features to help manage their shopping lists and better navigate the store aisles. Shoppers can access their Alexa shopping list through the Amazon app or on the Amazon Dash Cart to find items in the store more quickly and check off items as they shop. There will also be Amazon Echo Show devices located throughout the store so that shoppers can ask Alexa for help—simply say, "Alexa, where can I find the mayonnaise?".
Amazon Fresh grocery stores carry a wide assortment of national and local brands, produce, meat and seafood, baked goods and prepared foods made daily at the store, including made-to-order pizzas, rotisserie chickens, hot sandwiches and more. The stores also offer organic products from 365 by Whole Foods Market brand. Learn more about Amazon Fresh.
